What we can help with
Ingredient Tally can review site feedback about recipe scaling, kitchen conversion wording, unclear measurement explanations, broken links, mobile layout problems, or calculator results that appear inconsistent with a known kitchen conversion. Clear examples help us improve the page for other visitors who may have the same cooking or baking question.
If your message is about an ingredient conversion, please include the ingredient, the amount, the starting unit, the target unit, and the calculator page you used. For recipe-scaling questions, include the original serving count, desired serving count, and any ingredient that seemed difficult to round or measure.
Questions we cannot answer directly
We cannot provide personalized food-safety, nutrition, allergy, medical, or professional culinary advice by email. For canning, preservation, high-risk foods, allergies, medical diets, infant feeding, or commercial food service questions, use qualified official sources and professionals who can evaluate your exact situation.
Ingredient Tally is designed to explain calculator logic and improve the website experience. We can clarify how a page works, fix mistakes, and consider new calculators, but a tested recipe or professional standard should guide decisions where safety or compliance matters.
How feedback is used
Feedback is reviewed to improve calculator explanations, add missing ingredient context, fix confusing wording, and prioritize new guides. If a page creates repeated questions, we may update the FAQ, add a clearer example, add a related article link, or improve the math explanation so visitors can understand the result before they start cooking.
We do not publish personal messages. When a question reveals a general issue, the site may be improved in a broad way that helps future readers while keeping the original message private.
We also use feedback to keep pages complete for visitors coming from search. A strong calculator page should include the tool, the measurement context, rounding guidance, examples where useful, and links to related guides, so comments about missing context are especially helpful.
Response time
We typically respond to emails within 2-3 business days. For urgent food safety, nutrition, or recipe-specific questions, please consult a qualified professional or trusted official source who can provide guidance for your specific situation.
If a message requires us to test a calculator, compare unit assumptions, or reproduce a mobile layout issue, the response may take longer. We would rather review the page carefully than send a fast answer that misses the underlying measurement problem.
Please avoid sending private medical, allergy, or household details that are not needed to describe a website issue. A general example of the recipe unit, ingredient, and calculator result is usually enough for us to investigate.
